We absolutely love these cute foodie cupcakes created last week for Lonely Planet’s brand new Ultimate Eatlist book launch. This new release ranks 500 of the world’s top eating experiences and we can’t wait to read it for some tips!
These cupcakes feature some of the top contenders, including teeny tiny South Korean bibimbap which are in at entry number 8, along with sushi, hotdogs, spaghetti bolognese and smoked salmon bagels.
These miniature food creations looked almost too cute to eat (we said almost!) and we hope that they were enjoyed by all those celebrating Ultimate Eatlist’s launch.
Take a look at these awesome cakes made to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the cult classic film The Piano! Our decorators have taken inspiration from the beach scenes at the beginning of the film to create these bespoke cakes with detail right down to the little piano keys. We hope that the lucky recipients enjoyed them!
When the iconic skincare brand Kiehl’s got in touch to ask us to create some super fun branded rainbow cakes we couldn’t wait to help! These cakes were created to celebrate the launch of Kiehl’s collaboration with MTV Staying Alive Foundation, which is dedicated to stopping the spread of HIV among young people. Their awesome rainbow branding features on the top of limited edition pots of Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream, and has inspired the rainbow theme of these cakes. Complete with carefully crafted font matched piped plaques on the front and finished off with rainbow sprinkles, these cakes were just the thing to kick start Pride week at our Wandsworth HQ!
Here at Crumbs & Doilies we love a wedding, and as we move into summer this can only mean one thing… wedding season!
This dessert table from Joe and Annie’s special day included a mouth watering selection of different cakes and bakes, and we think that the end result looked awesome.
Congratulations, Joe and Annie!

Last week we were thrilled to be invited to host an exclusive cupcake decorating workshop at the beautiful Kate Spade Regent st store. 10 lucky Crumbs and Doilies fans had their finger on the pulse, and were the first to sign up within minutes of us posting the event opening on our instagram feed. Our very own baking extraordinaire Sally took the group through their paces, sharing some of our well honed decorating secrets. The workshop was a great success and I think you will all agree, these ladies aced it!
