The C&D gang are BIG fans of the awesome Tatty Devine brand, and we’d like to think that the feeling is mutual. We partnered with Tatty Devine to celebrate the launch of their awesome Rainbow Cake Necklace. We baked some special Rainbow Cakes to feed their lucky (and hopefully hungry) customers, and they created this beautiful range of special C&D necklaces for us to give away to some fortunate followers on Instagram! Here’s a closer look at some of our favourite pieces…
Hi all – a quick late-night post to announce the winner of October’s super-spooky Name the Cupcake Competition. October’s winner is… Laura, who suggested Black Forest Cat-eaux! Well done Laura – a dozen big and 24 mini cupcakes will be winging their way to you real soon!
The Competition’s going to be taking a well-earned break in November, but be sure to check back in December ‘cos it’ll be back, bigger and better than ever!
Hi all. It’s that time again – time to announce the winner of last month’s Name the Cupcake Comp. And the top honours (not to mention free cupcakes) go to… Sandra! It was all thanks to Sandra’s suggested cupcake name: Pearl Hunger. Good enough on it’s own, you might say, but then Sandra went and further gilded the lilly with the addition of some extra descriptive parenthesis, making the knock-out full title: Pearl Hunger (starring Bun Affleck)! Genius. Well done Sandra – a dozen big and two dozen mini cupcakes will be winging their way to you in the very near future.
For everyone else we’ll be putting up a new cupcake for naming in the next couple of days, so keep ’em peeled!
Great news for cakers and bakers – this September sees the return of the brilliant Cake & Bake Show to London! Taking place at Earls Court from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th September the Cake & Bake Show is the UK’s biggest and best celebration of all things cakey and bakey, featuring a host of celebrity bakers, live demos, classes and of course more cakes and baked goods than you can shake a very large stick at.
Even better news is that we’ve got 4 pairs of tickets to give away (worth £14.50 per ticket) that will grant you and a pal access to the show on a day of your choosing. To be in with a chance at winning all you need to do is help us match up the ingredients to the cupcakes over on our website. We’ll pick 4 winners from all correct entries at the start of September with each winning entry receiving one pair of tickets.
Great news – our Name the Cupcake Competition cupcake is up and available to name on the website! Just think of a witty name for the little chap above and in a little over a month you could be chowing down on a dozen big and 2 dozen mini cupcakes, completely free, gratis and for nothing! If you live or work in London we’ll even drop them off for you!
Huge thanks to everyone who took the time to enter our Name the Cupcake competition last month. We’ve sifted through the entries, ruled out all the ‘Bubblicious’ suggestions (too obvious people!) and arrived at our winner – Naomi, who suggested ‘Let Them Eat Drake’. What can I say, we’re suckers for a good duck-related pun. Call us quackers.
Anywhoo… Naomi will be the lucky recipient of 24 mini and 12 big cupcakes, delivered free (or she can collect, if desired), for her troubles, and if you’d like to find yourself the proud owner of a similar spongey endowment this time next month you can always enter August’s NtCcC (as no-one’s calling it). We’ll have a new cake available for naming by the start of next week.
Psst… Like thinking up witty and/or amusing names for cupcakes? Fond of a pun? Like winning free cake? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions we might have just the competition for you – pop over to our competition page and suggest a name for the bathtime-inspired dude above and you could win a dozen big and two dozen mini cupcakes, delivered anywhere within our standard area (or for collection, if that’s more your style). Happy naming!
