Despite appearances (drizzly cold June days, anyone!?) Summer is creeping in slowly, and that means it’s WEDDING SEASON! We love how different all of our brides and grooms-to-be are, and how they each have a unique vision for their big day. Emily sent us photos of the beautiful Hydrangeas they’d arranged for the day, and we did the rest. Congrats Emily!
Some more wedding cupcakes, this time for Simone, who was getting married at the wonderful Searcys 30 Pavillion Road in Knightsbridge. Simone opted for a purple and cream colour scheme with a hint of pink to tie in with the flowers for the day, and a 6-tier stand with 3 dozen big and 3 dozen mini cupcakes – perfect for an intimate wedding and still a magnificent centrepiece with the addition of a silver cake stand and a 6″ cutting cake.
Ooof… Sorry for the pun – a poor title even by our standards – but hopefully this great cupcake tower will go some way to making up for it. Here’s a few pics from Carla’s wedding, and Anglo-Brazilian affair at the lovely Royal Horseguards Hotel on Whitehall, complete with a mix of London and Brazilian (hence the flip-flops!) decoration and C&D (Carla & David) piping.
More wedding cupcakes now with a quick look at some lovely red and gold wedding cupcakes we did for Saira and Warren, who got married in the wonderful Old Palace at Hatfield House. Fresh flowers are always a great addition to any cupcake tower, especially when they’re as well co-ordinated as these ones. You can see a few more pics of the cakes – and the room – below.
Here’s a quick look at some lovely blue, cream and pastel pink cupcakes we did for Stacey’s wedding, plus an extra little chocolate cake for a birthday guest at the reception. The colours worked wonderfully in the room, which was all the way down in Rye, necessitating an even earlier start than normal!
What a lovely name for a colour scheme – Sunrise & Snow. Here’s a tower of cupcakes we did for Lorraine’s wedding to match her attractively titled orange and white colours. Wedding season’s certainly approaching full swing, so stay tuned for some more delightful wedding cupcake shots, and of course don’t forget that if you or yours are planning your perfect day there’s plenty more photos as well as ordering information in our wedding brochure, which you can download directly over on the weddings page.
Here’s a look at a super-cute yellow and blue wedding cupcake tower for Charlotte’s Soho wedding last weekend, complete with adorable mini flags – hand-made by Charlotte herself – and brilliant cake topper (which you can find here, wedding cake topper fans).
Here’s a quick look at a lovely tower of white wedding cupcakes with rolled peach roses and a cutting cake we did for Che’s wedding. We had to take care when arranging the horizontal cupcakes, but as it turned out they looked quite delightful. We also included a few cupcake wrappers to soften the look and accentuate the lacey piping on the cutting cake.
Ah, amazeballs. A term reserved in the kitchen for cupcake orders of the highest stature, like these great wedding cupcakes for Kate’s wedding a couple of weeks back. A mix of bright, colourful, slightly retro colours, and a veritable who’s who of our favourite cupcake flavours, including Raspberry Ripple, Mint Choc Chip, Red Velvet, Buttered Popcorn and Banoffee Pie alongside the more traditional Chocolate and Vanilla. Well played Kate, well played indeed.
