The days are getting longer and Spring has finally er.. sprung! What better way to celebrate the Easter Weekend than with this beautiful Peter Rabbit Birthday cake we made for Maisie’s 2nd Birthday? This tiered cake is iced in smooth Vanilla buttercream, with layers of Lemon Sponge for the top tier, and Vanilla with jam and buttercream for the bottom tier, decorated with hand-made sugarpaste pieces. I am sure Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddle-duck would be pretty pleased to find themselves in such a delicious garden.
Our Easter cupcake selection this year features chicks, mini eggs and even super-cute eggbox packaging for the minis. What’s more they’re available to order right now! Click over to the orders page for more information and to book yourself in for collection or delivery.
Hi all. Just a quick one to let you know that our Easter cupcakes are available to order now from the website! You can order by the dozen and in adorable eggboxes of 6 mini cupcakes, and they’re available for delivery or collection.
Hi all. Just a quick reminder that we’ll be at both the Kings Road and Covent Garden markets tomorrow for an old-fashioned Easter eggstravaganza. There’ll be tonnes of delicious cupcakes on offer, as well as our special Easter Eggboxes and Easter Gift boxes. Plus our awesome new Flavour of the Month will be making it’s début (more on that later).

Evening all. Just a quick reminder that you’ll be able to grab yourself some super Easter cupcakes from our Kings Road market stall tomorrow. It’s just up the road from Sloane Square tube (check out the map below) and we’ll be open from 10am.

We’ll be posting updates live(ish) from our Twitter account too, so keep an eye on that, if you like.
Happy Easter everyone!
Thanks to everyone who’s stopped by the stall to say hi so far… Here’s a couple of pics for those of you who can’t make it. Mmmm – virtual cupcakes.
The fields are full of gambolling lambs, little fluffy chicks are everywhere underfoot and somewhere a very special bunny is getting ready to make his rounds. Or something. Anyway, Spring is well and truly springing and it’s nearly Easter! And full details of this year’s Easter cupcake eggstravaganza are up on the main site now!
We’ll be offering a selection of fantastic Easter cupcakes at our Chelsea stall on Saturday 11th April and as always it’ll be a first-come first-served affair. If you’d like to get a little extra cupcake love and beat the crowds this is your last chance to sign up as a C&D VIP for the inside Easter track. Just fill in your details below to become one of the privileged few and (probably) the envy of your friends and family.
I know – a proper form! On my little blog! It’s all very exciting.
Hi all. And an extra specially big hi to everyone who came down to the market on Saturday to say hi and pick up their Easter cupcakes. We had a great time (in between the snow storms) and it was a pleasure to spread the bunny-y goodness amongst the good people of Chelsea.
See you next year!
That’s right – everyone’s second-favourite Christian festival is just around the corner, and we’ll be celebrating in style by holding an Easter Eggstravaganza (I’m contractually obliged to call it that apparently) at our market stall on Duke of York Square, Kings Road, on Saturday 22nd March.
Because we tend to sell out pretty quickly at these types of things we’ll be giving everyone the chance to reserve their Easter cupcakes ahead of time for collection on the day. There’s two great offers to choose from – our Easter Box (15 mini cupcakes in a nice box with ribbon and stuff) and our Easter Eggbox (6 mini cupcakes in a cute coloured egg carton).
You can place and pay for your order over on the main site (here), and then all you have to do is make your way to the Kings Road on Saturday 22nd (10am-3pm) to collect.
See you there!
It was a Crumbs and Doilies Easter eggstravaganza at Sunday UpMarket today – with a truly eggcellent selection of cupcakes, mini eggs, chicks and rabbits. A big thanks to everyone who came along to say hi, and for those that didn’t/couldn’t, well, the yolk’s on you! (sorry).
Anyway, Crumbs and Doilies can be found in the same spot every Sunday, so if you find yourself in the East End come down and take a look – we’re close to the twin excitements of Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane.
And a very Happy Easter to everyone else out there in cyberland too – don’t forget, we’ll be setting up shop (er, stall) at Sunday UpMarket in London’s lively East End tomorrow, with a selection of special Easter cupcakes and other fun stuff. Come and say hi and I might even give you a free cake. Speaking of which, I’d better get back to my sprinkles – those cupcakes won’t ice themselves…
BFN, as I think they say on the interweb…
