All our Vintage Cakes are hand iced with super smooth Swiss Meringue Buttercream and are available in your choice of colour with optional finishing ribbons. We can also personalise your Vintage Cake with a hand-piped message plaque and candles to ensure you get the perfect centrepiece for your party or event.

How do I order a Vintage cake from Crumbs & Doilies?
Our vintage cakes can be ordered online, by email, or over the phone.
Note: We do not take orders in our Soho shop, however you pre-order online for collection or can buy cupcakes, cookies and brownies in-store on the day!
When should I order my vintage cake?
To ensure availability and freshness, we recommend placing your vintage cake order at least 48 hours in advance, but we can work to 1 working days' notice. For larger or customised orders, it's best to contact us as early as possible to discuss your specific needs.
Can I customise my cake with a message or design?
Absolutely! We offer extensive customisation options for our Vintage Cakes, including personalised messages and unique designs. Whether you want a specific colour scheme, themed decorations, or a heartfelt message, our team can contact us for bespoke options.
What's the difference between single and tonal colour Vintage Cake decoration?
Single colour is all one colour icing, and tonal colours feature a range of 3 colours all based on a single tone (white, light and dark pink for pink tonal colour decoration, for example).
Would I be able to have a colour on my vintage cake that isn’t listed on your website?
Yes - we can provide vintage cakes in colours other than those on the website for a small bespoke surcharge. Simply contact our Customer Service team who will be able to discuss this with you and provide you with a quote for your order.
Can I buy a vintage cake from your Soho shop?
All of our vintage cakes are baked to order, so while you can order for collection from Soho, all orders need to be placed in advance.
What delivery options are available for vintage cakes?
We provide hand delivery for our vintage cakes across London and within the M25, ensuring your cake arrives fresh and beautifully presented. You can also choose to collect your vintage cake from our Wandsworth HQ or our Soho shop.You’ll be able to provide your delivery address during checkout to see if you are covered by our delivery area.
Can I send a vintage cake as a gift?
Yes - we offer hand delivery on all our vintage cakes to most London postcodes, and we can include a card with your message.
Do you sell candles for your vintage cakes?
Yes! We have a range of birthday candles, which can be ordered to be delivered or collected along with your cake.
How do you ensure the safe transportation of vintage cakes?
Our delivery team is trained to handle and transport vintage cakes with the utmost care. We use specialised packaging to ensure that your cake arrives in perfect condition.
Allergens
All our bakes are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, milk, eggs, soya, sesame, nuts, sulphites, and products from factories that handle peanuts. We cannot guarantee our bakes are free from these allergens.

Do you offer vintage cakes for corporate events?
Yes! We can do vintage cakes for corporate events where you can add an edible logo and have different placements where the image can be added to the cake. We can also offer the vintage cake in your brand colours. Please reach out to our Customer Service team who will be happy to help and discuss your cake.

Crumbs & Doilies offers bespoke Vintage Cake delivery within London and now to all postcodes in the M25! You can be sure that your cake will arrive freshly baked and perfectly decorated for your celebration. Our dedicated delivery drivers handle your cake with the utmost care and all our deliveries go straight from our bakery to you. We understand the importance of timing, especially on such a special day, so we offer AM/PM time slots to ensure your cake will arrive on time and in perfect condition.
If you're further afield (or live very close!) you can always collect from us; we'll ensure it's carefully packaged for transport.
