The team at Crumbs and Doilies were fabulous- really helpful with answers questions about the design and sorting out delivery for an event. Cakes were delicious and it was a race to get the leftovers from the event to take home!

Thanks so much for the beautiful cake and cupcakes! My daughter loved it and all the kids were mesmerised by the cake. It also tasted delicious and it wasn’t too sweet which is the usual problem when ordering online. This cake was perfect. Thanks again for making it special for our girl.

When our lil girl was 2 turning 3 in Covid we were juggling full time work and nursery closure. The days were long and we made them longer by setting rules about screens etc like typical type A parents. Before nap time Clemmie and her dad would watch a Cupcake Jemma video to wind down and that was it. I think she has had a C&D cake every year since then. Always delicious and a slightly traumatic (for the parents) but happy reminder of the joy that watching someone do what they love gave a tiny lil toddler that has carried on to this day.

This chocolate cake was absolute perfection. The ordering process was easy. The cake itself was absolutely delicious. All of our guests asked where I got it from. It went way further than estimated and was still fresh when we were enjoying it nearly a week later!
Beautiful cake - sponge was perfectly moist and the icing was balanced and not too sweet. Just waiting for my next occasion (excuse) to order from C&D!
We were celebrating my daughter’s 10th birthday, and she had her heart set on a pink cake, so we decided to go for the Pretty in Pink cake. I believe this is probably my 10th or 11th cake from C&D, and they continue to impress every time. Their cakes are always moist, full of flavour and beautifully decorated, which is why I continue to be a repeat customer. They will always be my go to bakery for every occasion!
We thought the cakes were lovely but the butter cream tasted of nothing. We were disappointed that we were not allowed an assortment of flavours as not everyone likes the same kind of cake. For £70+ for 12 cupcakes you would think this could be accommodated. The cakes were good fun.
The ordering process was super easy with Johnnie, who was lovely and talked me through what designs/colours were possible. The cake was vegan red velvet and tasted absolutely divine!!! Thank you again team for delivering this so quickly and so making such a gorgeous cake xxx

Huge thanks to the team at Crumbs & Doilies! We ordered branded brownies and mini cupcakes for an ITV event, and they were a huge hit. The branding looked sharp and the taste was 10/10. What really stood out was how easy the whole process was. Ordering was simple, and the delivery experience was stress free thanks to a driver who kept us updated the whole way. I’m not usually a huge fan of chocolate cake, but I absolutely loved this stunning two-tier chocolate hazelnut cake that I ordered for a 21st birthday celebration. It was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, so moist and light, yet still wonderfully indulgent. I particularly loved the coating of roasted hazelnuts around part of the cake, which added such a lovely texture and flavour. The birthday girl was absolutely delighted, and we received so many compliments on the cake throughout the celebration. It really was perfect for the occasion and looked just as impressive as it tasted. The cake was delivered perfectly on time, with clear storage instructions, and the customer service team were incredibly helpful and responsive when I had a few questions. I would definitely order from here again and can’t wait to try some of their other cakes! 🍰✨

Got these for a baby shower. They were an absolute hit, everyone loved them including the new parents who have high standards!!
The chocolate cake was very yummy and it looked so beautiful but the only thing that I think could be better was that buttercream outside was too heavy and sweet which goes to waste but the inside of the cake was were good and everyone enjoyed it.
Lovely cake. Was potentially afraid that alike to some other places that the chocolate cake would be dry, but the chocolate cake was perfect, slightly fudgey with moisture and good flavour. The raspberry balanced it perfectly and nothing was too sweet or not sweet enough. The cake lasted for days and still tasted great which I feel evidence the quality of the cake. The buttercream was also not claggy or leaving a greasy after effect in the mouth. Would certainly order again and plan to order my son’s cake from C&D.

Slight issue with courier causing damage to the cake the day before our daughter's first birthday. Johnny and the team came to the rescue with an amazing replacement the following morning. Been a long time customer and so delighted that the service matches the quality of their cakes and treats.
