This chocolate cake was absolute perfection. The ordering process was easy. The cake itself was absolutely delicious. All of our guests asked where I got it from. It went way further than estimated and was still fresh when we were enjoying it nearly a week later!

First time not making a birthday cake . Was not disappointed the quality and service online and on picking up in Wandsworth was helpful and friendly. Delicious chocolate cake -moist and not overly sweet, perfect in fact. Lasted well and much admired. The green cake board provided really set it off well. Will definitely order again .

It was my 10th birthday, where I had a karaoke and bowling party with some friends, and what better way to top it off than with a delicious cake from Crumbs and Doilies!!! It has become part of our family tradition to celebrate birthdays with a heavenly, moist, and scrumptious cake, and the chocolate one is by far my current favourite.
Omg! This was chocolate HEAVEN! So delish!!!! The sponge was moist and the icing was rich but light! It was delivered by the lovely Crumbs & Doilies driver!

The cake was delicious and looked lovely and I would order again. The delivery was annoying as from about 11.30 ish I got an update of a time window saying it would be there between 12 and 1 , so l planned my day around that . It took me a few hours to cotton on that the timing was meaningless as it kept moving saying 40 mins , 30 mins then back to 40 mins etc - it arrived after 4 in the end , which was within the overall time frame but better not to state a tracking option if it doesn’t work at all.
Cake was top of the range. Got devoured.
Great Cake
I always buy my family’s birthday cakes from Crumbs & Doilies. I’m a huge cake lover, and I’ve yet to taste anything as delicious as their cakes! My favourite flavour is chocolate — it never disappoints.

We normally adore all Crumbs and Doilies cakes but this one was not as good as the previous ones. The butter cream was too rich and a bit sickening.

The staff at C&D Soho were wonderful: friendly: a lovely warm greeting as soon as i entered the shop - informative: giving me all the proper transport & storage information -patient: i fumbled to find my order # & had trouble with my payment method. As for the cake itself: the flavour was delicious: decadent, not overly sweet. The sponge, however, was a tad dry, & the buttercream was a little gritty. my next visit to London, i would definitely re-order, but perhaps opt for a different flavour/sponge & type of buttercream.

Crumbs & Doilies only ever uses the finest ingredients available. All our butter is supplied by Lescure, our flour is organic from Doves Farm, our sugar is always from sugar cane and not beet, our eggs are organic and free range and we use Callebaut Chocolate and Cocoa in our bakes.
We make all our inclusions, such as caramels, curds, meringues, fruit goos, chocolate truffles and more fresh from scratch in house every day. There's rarely a moment when we're not caramelising white chocolate, or bubbling fresh raspberries, to ensure everything in our cakes and bakes is as good as it can be.

We offer an exceptional hand delivery service for all our Cakes and Cupcakes across London and within the M25, with each order travelling direct from our bakery to your door, and if you're in the UK we ship Brownies and Cookies overnight on the afternoon they're baked so they arrive fresh as can be.
