I’m not usually a huge fan of chocolate cake, but I absolutely loved this stunning two-tier chocolate hazelnut cake that I ordered for a 21st birthday celebration. It was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, so moist and light, yet still wonderfully indulgent. I particularly loved the coating of roasted hazelnuts around part of the cake, which added such a lovely texture and flavour. The birthday girl was absolutely delighted, and we received so many compliments on the cake throughout the celebration. It really was perfect for the occasion and looked just as impressive as it tasted. The cake was delivered perfectly on time, with clear storage instructions, and the customer service team were incredibly helpful and responsive when I had a few questions. I would definitely order from here again and can’t wait to try some of their other cakes! 🍰✨

We never use frozen sponge or store our bakes - everything at Crumbs & Doilies is freshly baked. Whether it's a three tier wedding cake from our main bakery or a Choc Chip New York Cookie from C&D Soho everything we do is made on site on the day.

The finest ingredients available

Crumbs & Doilies only ever uses the finest ingredients available. All our butter is supplied by Lescure, our flour is organic from Doves Farm, our sugar is always from sugar cane and not beet, our eggs are organic and free range and we use Callebaut Chocolate and Cocoa in our bakes.

We make all our inclusions, such as caramels, curds, meringues, fruit goos, chocolate truffles and more fresh from scratch in house every day. There's rarely a moment when we're not caramelising white chocolate, or bubbling fresh raspberries, to ensure everything in our cakes and bakes is as good as it can be.
