We ordered a lemon drizzle cake for a birthday celebration. We found the cake was soft, moist and sufficiently lemony. Delivery was also prompt.

The sponge was really nice but the cake would have been much better if it had a lemon curd to cut through the buttercream and to make it more tart. Each slice has a lot of the same very sweet buttercream which several guests chose not to finish.

A little bit too dry and was hoping it would be more lemon-y but instead it was a bit too sweet

The finest ingredients available
Crumbs & Doilies only ever uses the finest ingredients available. All our butter is supplied by Lescure, our flour is organic from Doves Farm, our sugar is always from sugar cane and not beet, our eggs are organic and free range and we use Callebaut Chocolate and Cocoa in our bakes.
All additions and inclusions made in house
We make all our inclusions, such as caramels, curds, meringues, fruit goos, chocolate truffles and more fresh from scratch in house every day. There's rarely a moment when we're not caramelising white chocolate, or bubbling fresh raspberries, to ensure everything in our cakes and bakes is as good as it can be.

Fast, reliable delivery in London and the UK
We offer an exceptional hand delivery service for all our Cakes and Cupcakes across London and within the M25, with each order travelling direct from our bakery to your door, and if you're in the UK we ship Brownies and Cookies overnight on the afternoon they're baked so they arrive fresh as can be.
